A bracelet of beaded spiral rope in orange colors

A bracelet of beaded spiral rope in orange colors

Today we will make a simple bracelet out of beaded spiral rope.
We will need:
- seed beads of two sizes; I used seed beads #11 of orange color and seed beads #8 of brown color,
- nylon thread and a beading needle,
- clasp for a bracelet.

Take a nylon thread with a needle at one of its ends. The length of the thread depends on the size of the bracelet, that is why I recommend to take the thread of about 1 meter in length. As soon as it becomes too short you should fasten it passing through several beads and tying a knot. Then take a new thread, weave it into the bracelet and then continue weaving using this new segment of thread.

Step 1:
Make the tension bead.
String onto the thread 1 brown bead and place it about 20 cm from the free end of the thread.

Pass the needle through this bead from the free end of the thread.

Tighten the thread. We've got the tension bead. It helps the free end of the thread not to decrease during the process of weaving.

Step 2:
String onto the thread 4 brown and 6 orange beads.

Pass the needle through 4 last added brown beads starting from the free end of the thread (excluding the tension bead).

Tighten the thread.

Step 3:
String onto the thread 1 brown and 6 orange beads.

Pass the needle through the last 4 brown beads in direction from the free end of the thread.

Tighten the thread.

Then repeat Step 3 as many times as it is necessary for making a bracelet of the required length. Tighten the thread after each step to ensure the weaving to be tight.

After that attach the clasp. String onto the thread 1 brown and 7 orange beads and pass the needle through all these beads in direction from the bracelet.

After that once again pass the needle through a brown and 4 orange beads.

String a clasp onto the needle and attach it to the nearest bead.

For a better safety pass the needle through the clasp and through the bead near it one more time.

Fix the thread passing it through several beads and tying a knot.

In the same way attach another clasp at the other end of the bracelet. Preliminarily remove the tension bead that was made in the very beginning.
Our bracelet is finished!

P.S. You can also make these earrings and get a beaded jewelry set made of spiral rope.
