'Love story' beaded necklace

Today I will teach you how to make a beaded necklace with a heart shaped pendant. I called it the ‘Love story’ necklace.

To make this necklace I used the following materials:
- size 3/0 transparent green seed beads;
- 20х9х7 mm oblong faceted beads, also of transparent green color;
- 6 & 8 mm yellow pearl round beads;
- a metal connector;
- a small metal decoration;
- a clasp;
- 0.3 mm fishing line;
- a beading needle.

‘Pearls among hearts’ necklace

Thinking of the next beading tutorial, I wanted to embody a few ideas in a single item:
- at first, I wanted to make a beaded item for Valentine’s Day,
- at second, I wanted to make an item of beaded jewelry and most of all, a necklace,
- at third, that beaded item should be quite simple and shouldn’t need complicated weaving techniques and a large variety of materials,
- at fourth, despite of the above mentioned simplicity that beaded item should be original, elegant and attractive.

As a result, I made a necklace with heart-shaped elements and pearl beads. I called it the ‘Pearls among hearts’ necklace.

To make this necklace I used the beading technique of cubic right angle weave (CRAW) and a very simple range of materials:
- red color Czech seed beads of two sizes: 10/0 and 8/0,
- 10 mm pearl beads of white color,
- clasp for a necklace,
- nylon fishing line 0.2 mm thick and one or two beading needles (depends on the stringing method you use for making CRAW).

A bracelet in square stitch

Today we will make a bracelet using the technique of square stitch that we have already used in our tutorials. It will be a bracelet in a "love theme".

To make this bracelet we will need:
- size 8 seed beads of three colors: white, red and pink;
- nylon thread and a beading needle;
- clasp for a bracelet.

Beaded 3D heart in CRAW

To make a heart in the beading technique of cubic right angle weave (CRAW) we will need:
- size 8 seed beads of red color,
- nylon fishing line 0.3 mm thick and one or two beading needles (depends on the stringing method you are going to use).

Ring with heart

Today we will make another beaded jewelry product - a ring with an image of a heart. For weaving we will use the technique of brick stitch.
We will need:
- size 11 seed beads of three colors; I used seed beads of light-yellow, orange and red colors,
- nylon fishing line 0.2 mm thick and two beading needles (as usual in the brick stitch technique, you can also do with one needle only).

Earrings hearts in peyote stitch

We continue learning the new methods of beading. Today we turn our attention to the technique of peyote stitch. We've already got an idea of this technique, as you can remember we made the image of the Zodiac sign of Capricorn lately with it. But at that time we used a fishing line with a single needle, this way of peyote stitch is applied when a product contains an even number of beads in width. If the number of beads in the product's width is odd, the weaving should be conducted with the help of two needles. Using this technique, today we will make earrings shaped like hearts. In addition, in the process of beading we will consider some techniques which are used in the weaving of figurate mosaic products.

Beaded bracelet with hearts

With the approach of Valentine's Day I'd like to make a few products in the holiday theme. Let's start with a simple bracelet on the fishing line with a pattern of red hearts and yellow rhombs.

Beaded cherries

Today we will make beaded cherries. You can use these cherries as a decoration or as a keychain.
We will need:
- two 8 mm round beads (preferably of red or cherry color);
- size 10 czech seed beads of green and cherry colors;
- thin nylon fishing line (0,2 mm in diameter) and a beading needle.
