Roses with mimosa

Beaded roses with mimosa

For making a bouquet of beaded roses with mimosa we will need:
- three beaded roses which we made earlier;
- size 10/0 seed beads of yellow and green colors;
- size 3 bugle beads of green color;
- wire 0.2 mm thick;
- a basket or a vase into which we’ll place the bouquet.

First, out of yellow seed beads make mimosa sprigs with flowers.
Take a wire 50 cm long and string on it six seed beads. Place the beads on the middle of the wire.

Fold the wire with beads in a loop and twist the wire below the loop for 4-5 turns.

String six seed beads on any end of the wire and place them about 1 cm from the first twisting.

Again, make the loop of these beads

and twist the wire below the loop for 4-5 turns.

Make the same beaded loop on the other end of the wire.

After that twist together both ends of the wire for 5-6 turns.

Continue making consecutive rows of beaded loops. So make the 2nd row of loops,

and then 5 more rows.

The mimosa sprig with flowers is finished. Make at least 18 such sprigs.

Then make mimosa sprigs with leaves. Use green seed beads and green bugle beads.
Take a wire 60 cm long and string on it one seed bead, one bugle bead and again one seed bead. Place the set of beads on the middle of the wire.

Take any end of the wire and, holding the seed bead at its side, pass this end of the wire backwards through the bugle bead and further through the seed bead.

Tighten the wire.

Then string on any end of the wire one bugle bead and one seed bead.

Again, holding the seed bead, pass this end of the wire backwards through the bugle bead.

Tighten the wire. We’ve got a needle of beads.

Make the same needle of beads on the other end of the wire.

After that put together both ends of the wire and string two seed beads on them.

Continue making consecutive rows of beaded needles. So make the 2nd row of needles,

and then 7 more rows.

The mimosa sprig with leaves is finished. Make at least 12 such sprigs.

Now let’s assemble the bouquet. First, twist each mimosa sprig with leaves together with a sprig with flowers.

Then put together sprigs two by two, at the same time adding an additional sprig with flowers to the each bunch.

Next, take the roses which we made earlier, add the mimosa sprigs to them and arrange the flowers attractively to get a bouquet. Then put the bouquet into a vase or a basket.
