Today we will make a bracelet out of round beads and seed beads of two sizes. To make it we will use the beading technique of flat spiral weave.
For this bracelet I used:
- 6 mm round beads of white color,
- size 6/0 seed beads of amber color,
- size 10/0 seed beads of brown color,
- nylon fishing line 0.2 mm thick and a beading needle,
- clasp for a bracelet.
Step 1:
String on the line 2 round beads, 5 small seed beads, 1 large seed bead and 5 small seed beads. Place the set of beads approximately at a 15 cm distance from the free end of the line.
Pass the needle through both round beads in direction from the free end of the line.
Tighten the line.
Step 2:
String 5 small seed beads, 1 large seed bead and 5 small seed beads.
Pass the needle through both round beads (in direction from the free end of the line).
Step 3:
String 1 round bead, 5 small seed beads, 1 large seed bead and 5 small seed beads.
Pass the needle through the last two round beads (in direction from the free end of the line).
Tighten the line.
Next, repeat Step 2 one more time and then alternate Steps 3 and 2 as many times as it is needed to get the bracelet of the required length. Do not forget to tighten the line after the each step.
After that attach a clasp. String 5 small seed beads, then pick up a clasp and another set of 5 small seed beads. Pass the needle backwards through the last round bead and then secure the line.
In the same way attach another clasp at the beginning of the beadwork using the tail line.
The bracelet is finished!
