Monkey - the sign of the 2016 year
We continue our seasonal series of beading tutorials on winter and Christmas beadworks. As you know, the 2016 year is the Year of the Monkey in the Chinese zodiac. We already have a tutorial on a flat beaded monkey in brick stitch on our site and today we will make another monkey, in the technique of 3-D beading on two segments of wire.
We will need:
- size 10/0 seed beads of four colors: red, pink, black and white;
- wire 0.2 mm thick.

Snowflake of bugle beads, seed beads and round beads
We continue our seasonal series of beading tutorials on winter and Christmas beadworks. Today we will make one more snowflake.
We will need:
- bugle beads #3 (I used bugle beads of silver color);
- seed beads #10 (I used seed beads of white color);
- round beads 4 mm in diameter (I used round beads of light gray color);
- wire 0.3 mm thick and 1 meter long.

‘Autumn colors’ earrings
Today we will make the ‘Autumn colors’ earrings which make up a set with the bracelet that we made earlier.
We will need:
- two 12 mm round beads of red color,
- size 8 Czech seed beads of orange color,
- size 10 Czech seed beads of yellow color,
- two ear wires,
- nylon fishing line 0.25 mm thick and one or two beading needles (depends on the stringing method you use for making CRAW).

Keychain with Scorpio (Zodiac sign)
We continue a series of keychains with zodiac signs. Today is the turn of Scorpio. For beading we will use the technique of brick stitch.
We will need:
- size 8/0 seed beads of five colors; I used seed beads of light-yellow, gray, brown, yellow and green colors,
- nylon fishing line 0.25 mm thick and two beading needles (as usual in brick stitch, you can do with one needle only).

‘Autumn colors’ bracelet
Today we will make a bracelet out of seed beads of two sizes and large round beads. I called it the ‘Autumn colors’ bracelet. To make this bracelet, we will use the beading technique of cubic right angle weave (CRAW).
We will need:
- 12 mm round beads of red color,
- size 8 Czech seed beads of orange color,
- size 10 Czech seed beads of yellow color,
- clasp for a bracelet,
- nylon fishing line 0.25 mm thick and one or two beading needles (depends on the stringing method you use for making CRAW).

Beaded monkey in brick stitch
Holidays are coming sooner than you think! Maybe, it’s time to think about Christmas? As you know, the next 2016 year is the year of the Monkey in the Chinese zodiac. That's why today we will make a beaded monkey. It is a simple beadwork that can be made rather quickly if you have some experience in brick stitch bead weaving. This monkey, for example, can be used as a Christmas decoration or you can give it to your friends and family members as a Christmas gift. Everybody for sure will like it.
We will need:
- size 8 seed beads of six colors; I used seed beads of brown, pink, white, gray, red and black colors;
- nylon fishing line 0.25 mm thick and two beading needles (as usual in brick stitch, you can do with one needle only).

Stretch bracelet in 3D beading technique
Today we will make a bracelet using the technique of 3D beading. This bracelet is very elastic, therefore it does not need a clasp. It stretches easily when being put on the arm and takes its usual shape instantly after that.
To make this bracelet we will need:
- size 8 seed beads of two colors (I used seed beads of turquoise and yellow colors);
- nylon fishing line 0.2 mm thick and two beading needles.

Bull
Today we will make a beaded 3D bull with a bell on its neck.
We will need:
- for the bull - size 8 seed beads of four colors: gray, black, dark-gray and brown;
- for the bell - size 10 seed beads of two colors: yellow and green;
- wire 0.3 mm thick for the bull and 0.2 mm thick for the bell;

Keychain with Cancer (Zodiac sign)

Bracelet of large round beads in green colors
Today we will make a bracelet out of large round beads of two sizes and seed beads.
We will need:
- round beads of two sizes: large, 16 mm in diameter, and small, 12 mm in diameter,
- size 8 seed beads,
- nylon fishing line 0.3 mm in diameter and two beading needles,
- clasp for a bracelet.
All the beads in my bracelet are of different shades of green.

Treble clef

Rooster and the full chicken family
We continue our series of beaded chickens. We have already made a young chicken and a hen. To get the full chicken family, today we will make a rooster. This chicken family can be an original Easter decoration, as well as a wonderful gift.
To make a beaded rooster I used:
- size 8 seed beads of six colors: orange, red, green, yellow, black and gray-pink;
- two 6 mm sequins;
- a wooden egg (you can also use a plastic egg);
- thin nylon fishing line (0,2 mm thick) and a beading needle.

Earrings of seed beads and round beads with a metal connector as the basis
To make a pair of these simple earrings we will need:
- two metal connectors with two eyelets at the top and seven eyelets at the bottom of antique bronze color;
- eight round beads of white color 6 mm in diameter;
- six round beads of golden color 8 mm in diameter;
- size 6/0 seed beads of amber color;
- two size 8/0 seed beads of amber color;
- two ear wires of golden color;

Basics of Right Angle Weave. Part 2: weaving connecting elements in the flat right angle weave

Basics of Right Angle Weave. Part 1: weaving a flat beaded fabric
We continue learning beading techniques. Today we will learn Right-Angle Weave stitch, also known as RAW. It is a bead weaving technique in which beads are stitched together with thread only making right angle turns. There are different kinds of RAW, such as flat right angle weave, tubular right angle weave and cubic right angle weave. At first, we will learn the basic kind of this stitch, flat right angle weave, and make a beaded fabric using this technique.
We will need:
- seed beads (I used size 8 seed beads);
- nylon fishing line and two beading needles (I used fishing line 0.3 mm in diameter).
